Farriers Cottage was by far the best cottage we have holidayed at in North Devon! It is perfectly finished and was absolutely perfect for our family of five, with the amazing hot tub being such a luxury for entire family!

Cheaper than European Rivals It’s been quite a while since the UK fared this well in a price comparison with other popular European holiday destinations. The cost of a trip here has fallen considerably since the UK voted to leave the EU and is likely to remain low – at least until a clear picture of what post-Brexit Britain will look like emerges. The Westcountry is enjoying a surge in tourism from home and abroad, and it’s easy to see why, given its inspiring coast, laid-back towns and picturesque fishing villages. Visitors to the UK who don’t make it out of London are missing out – not only on stunning scenery but also on exceptional value for money in rural regions such as North Devon.
Things to Do in North Devon There’s no shortage of activities on offer in North Devon, and most can be enjoyed without breaking the bank or having to exchange Euros. We have teamed up with some of the top North Devon attractions to offer our guests discounts and promotions at the following partners. RHS Rosemoor, The Big Sheepand North Devon Wake Park.
Travelling to Westward Ho! The great thing about a staycation is that you don’t need to worry about road blocks, passport issues, currency rates or the lingo (unlike the Cornish dialect, Devonshire is relatively easy to understand!) Whether you live in the UK or you’re travelling from overseas, getting to the North Devon coast has never been simpler. We are roughly an hour from Exeter Airport with flights to many European cities, and Bristol Airport can be reached in two hours. If you’re travelling by car, it’s worth looking at the ferry from France or Spain to Plymouth or Portsmouth, which are both only a couple of hours’ drive from Westward Ho!
