UPDATED 2nd SEPT 22
Due to concerns over bird flu in Devon and Somerset, egg collection has had to be suspended until futher notice until the Government let us us know that it is safe to resume. Thank you for your underestanding.
Nothing says “countryside holiday” quite as much as collecting your own eggs for breakfast and our much-loved rescue hens are more than happy to treat you to tasty free-range eggs during your stay. Feel free to collect them from the chicken coop in the morning, but please remember to close the coop afterwards to make sure Mr. Fox can't get in! Our hens like to lay the eggs at times to suit them, but as a rule morning seems to work well. Don't worry if you're not confident gathering eggs or if you don’t find any; just let us know, as we may have collected some already. Remember to use the hand sanitiser provided when touching any of the animals.
