Meet the animals

Say “hello” to our mischievous pygmy goats, Jack and Ben, gather fresh eggs from our clutch or rescue hens, or admire the majesty of our resident horses. With 60 acres of countryside at Duckhaven Stud, we have plenty of room for our friendly farm animals and pets..

As a former thoroughbred racing yard, many famous horses have been bred and trained at Duckhaven Stud.  Today, the Stud continues to be home to many of our beloved retired racehorses (and a few others who a have joined us along the way). You'll often see them grazing in the fields, but they'll trot over to greet you if you wait patiently. Our racehorses are now in training with professional West Country Racehorse Trainer Jimmy Frost.
