Set at our 60-acre farm, Duckhaven Stud, Frankies Cottage is surrounded by peaceful countryside. The cottage sleeps six plus an infant (under two years) and is beautifully spacious. As you settle into the cottage, enjoy a complimentary Devonshire cream tea and sink into the super comfy sofas. Bedrooms can be set up as twin rooms or with super king-size double beds, depending on your requirements. Each luxurious bed has a plush topper and is lined with Egyptian cotton bedding.
Frankies Cottage has a bright, open-plan design, with the living room, kitchen and diner perfectly designed for groups. Open the French doors to the patio and garden area, complete with a private family hot tub and glorious views over the rolling hills of Duckhaven Stud. On a hot summer's day, there's no finer place to enjoy some quality time with family and friends.
No trip to North Devon would be complete without a visit to Westward Ho!'s magnificent beach. You can reach the village via a 20-minute stroll on the South West Coast Path, or a three-minute drive. With two miles of sand and opportunities for swimming, surfing, bodyboarding and rock pooling, families never tire of this glorious North Devon hotspot. For dinner, check out the village's many eateries. Opt for Italian, Moroccan, Thai or traditional British fare, or tuck into a tasty portion of fish and chips by the sea. Duckhaven Stud is a magical place for families. With our beloved race horses roaming through the fields and our friendly farm animals regularly making an appearance, we're sure the kids will love exploring rural life. Frankies Cottage is in fact named after our favourite jockey, Frankie Dettori, who won the Chester Cup on Star Player and the Brighton Mile on Silca Blanka. For extra activities near the cottage, our play barn has table football, pool, table tennis and a small heated indoor plunge pool.

A single storey cottage located on a stud farm in Westward Ho!, with a floor space of 150 square meters with enclosed outside patio & garden areas. Open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area with 3 x (can be double or twin) bedrooms and two en suites
Cottage is located on a stud farm with a single track leading to front door
Space for unloading and loading is situated close to the front door. Parking for two vehicles is adjacent to cottage and clearly sign posted.
Guests are able to preorder shopping but must be present to accept delivery
Information is given to all guests prior to arrival on local suppliers
Cottage is 100 meters from Bideford Bus route no 16 please check the time table for current routes here
Cottage is easily accessible for taxis
Cottage is 12 miles from nearest train station at Barnstaple
Owners will assist with carrying luggage on arrival and departure, if required
