Relax and Restore at Westward Living

Coming away on holiday to a beautiful location in Devon gives you chance to press the reset button and focus on your mind and your body.  The strains of daily life can wear down the human body, stemming from factors like insufficient sleep, poor posture, and stress. Whether you spend your day on a construction site or behind a desk, the rejuvenating effects of massage are universally applicable.

Located within 60 acres of private coastal grounds in the UNESCO Biosphere in Westward Ho! on the North Devon Coast, we have a natures playground on our doorstep. There are many incredible walks and rugged coastlines to explore.  All our luxury self-catering holiday cottages at Westward Living  have direct Access onto the Southwest Coastal Footpath and we are close by to the mesmerising terrain of Exmoor.  If you are feeling a little more adventurous and want to discover some enchanting  flora and fauna, then a trip to Lundy Island is a great option. Lundy Island is great for walkers, the MS Oldenburg sets sail from Bideford Quay from the end of March to the end of October.

Here at Westward Living we are fortunate to have great working partnership with local respected professional sports masseur Jamie Blackman.  Since qualifying as a sport and nutritional therapist in 2015, Jamie has set up his own practise in Yelland, about 6 miles away from our cottages. He is very well known in the local community and affiliated with many local athletics and sports clubs.  His client base is diverse, whether you are a celebrity soccer player such as Kem Cetinay, a professional undefeated boxer – Billy Stanbury or just here on holiday and need a recharge on your aching muscles Jamie is the man to sort it.

Contrary to popular belief, one doesn't need to be a sports enthusiast to benefit from massage therapy.

Whether you choose to have a therapeutic sports massage in the cosy embrace of your self-catering holiday cottage at Westward Living or the mesmerising allure of the Ocean Kave with views extending out onto the Atlantic Ocean, this experience promises to be a transformative journey for your body, mind, and soul.
