This access guide does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer all our guests/visitors.

Westward Living is home to 14 self-catering cottages set within 60 acres of private coastal grounds. The cottage varies in size and aspect, each property has a detailed individual access statement on its own page. We are proud to be an inclusive holiday accommodation provider; we understand that our guests need may vary and each visitor is unique in their own way. Our experienced guest relations team are able to advise and recommend properties and tourist attractions for guests who may need some extra information to help them make the right decision about their holiday, this includes and is by no way limited to;

Most cottages have private parking on a flat and level tarmac surface directly outside the front entrance, the exceptions are, Dream Cottage, Surcoat Cottage, Silca Blanka, Warm Winter and Smiley Cottage. Parking for these aforementioned properties is 35 meters from cottage.

Guests are able to pre-order shopping but must be present to accept delivery

Information is given to all guests prior to arrival on local suppliers

Cottage is 100 meters from Bideford Bus route no 16 please check here for operation times

Cottage is easily accessible for taxis

Cottage is 12 miles from nearest train station at Barnstaple

Owners will assist with carrying luggage on arrival and departure, if required

Key Collection, Welcome and Car Parking

Key collection is from the reception building during offices hours (Mon-Fri 9-5:30pm) For arrivals outside of office hours please call the office on 01237 238967 or 24-hour guest phone 07807 096997 to make suitable arrangements.

Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in all our properties, however please do check with us prior to making your decision as some cottage do not have secure gardens. Here is a link to our dog friendly cottages

Access to south west coastal foot path from farm, steep incline as was once used to train horses

Access to hens for freshly laid eggs Children’s play area Ocean Kave, for use by guests for bird watching and relaxing and private dining, also has disabled access toilet facilities. Small indoor heated plunge pool with jets (no hoist so not suitable for disabled access) open May - September
