The BBQ Corral is a purpose built BBQ hut offering glorious sunset views accross the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled in the summer field, the retired race horses and brood mares roam freely around the grounds and may come up to the fence to meet you.
The BBQ Corral can be hired exclusively by guests staying at Westward Living Holiday Cottages. We offer a dry hire and supply coals, cutlery, crockery, glassware, serving utensils, snuggle blankets and instructions on how to operate.
There are plenty of wonderful local suppliers to source a your ingredients and have a magical Devon BBQ experience.

The Devon and Cornwall Fish Company a fabulous wet market about 4 miles from our self catering cottages in the fishing village of Appledore
Hirons artisan butchers Hirons are located a short distance from our cottages in the town of Bideford, you are welcome to pop in and meet the team of butchers to collect your BBQ packs or they will deliver by arrangement.
Guest to Westward Living Holiday Cottages are able to book an evening from 6pm - 11pm to enjoy the sunset and cook on the coals. The BBQ Corral has seating for up to 8 guests around the fire pit BBQ.
Inside you will find colour changing lights, a fan, generator with one socket so you are able to bring a speaker or charge your phone to get those amazing sunset shots.
The BBQ Corral is perfect for cosy barbecues in cooler months or fun family gatherings.
Located in the summer field, surrounding by horses and the best sunset views the BBQ Corral is available for:
£40 per head for 2–4 guests
£10 per additional guest (up to 8 guests total)
We’ll provide the charcoal, plastic plates, and glasses – just bring along your favorite food and drinks!
